On this episode we talk with Trip Edwards, a venture capitalist who recently moved to Des Moines. We talk a lot about the venture landscape in this state and why a Texas fund has chosen to place an associate here. We also talk about what quintessentially Iowan things he's looking forward to taking part in. 

Last summer, when we started working on the idea that eventually became Gravitate, we came up with the concept of a “Community Members” to the space. The idea was to find a way for people who aren’t going to cowork at Gravitate to still participate and be a part of the space/community. Community Members have been invited first to our events, are included in our Founding Member wall and will receive a t-shirt.
