After a lot of hard work from our team and countless trips up and down 6th Avenue, I'm excited to share that Gravitate Downtown v1.5 is officially open for business at our new location: 317 6th Avenue, Suite 102. We're on the first floor of the building and the best way to access us from the outside world is on Locust St. If you're coming via the skywalk system, we're accessible from the lobby of what has historically been called the "Bank of America Building".
Gravitate Downtown is a little smaller in its current form than it was at our original location the Midland Building. However, since we're now all in our suite—rather than spread across multiple floors—it feels bigger.
Our new spot also lends itself to several new collaboration opportunities that we weren't able to support in the old space. We still have three meeting rooms for small groups or calls but now we also have a dedicated phone room and a dedicated class room that is perfect for classes, lunch and learns or user groups any time of day.
We've also added several new options for dedicated desk members and for the first time in several months we have a few office memberships available.
Stop in and check it out for yourself this Friday during our first First Friday at the new space. We'll have open coworking all day (starting at 9 AM) and then end with our typical Community Happy Hour starting at 4:30 PM (RSVP on Facebook appreciated).
If Friday doesn't work for you, please click here to schedule a tour at a time convenient for you.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the move and to all of our members for their flexibility during this change.
